SEO usually takes three to six months to show meaningful movement, but the timeline depends on competition, website health, content quality, and backlink strength. Technical fixes can improve crawlability quickly, while ranking for competitive keywords takes longer.

In the first month, focus on audits, indexation, Core Web Vitals, keyword mapping, metadata, internal links, and Search Console setup. In months two and three, publish service pages and useful blog content around real buyer questions. From month four onward, improve pages based on rankings, clicks, conversions, and competitor gaps.

The best SEO plan does not chase traffic alone. It targets commercial pages, location intent, service keywords, and content that supports sales. For agencies and local businesses, that means ranking pages for services, proof pages for trust, and helpful posts that answer buyer questions.
